The Clear Fork Rail Trail is a 5 mile long, non-motorized multi-use trail. The trail meanders along and passes over the Clear Fork River. In addition to the beautiful views of the water, views of cliff sides and lush forest give a serene, relaxing atmosphere.
The trail head is located at Jarrolds Valley, located at 101 Rich Lane, Whitesville.
The Clear Fork Rail Trail Waterfall is located on the trail. It is part of the WV Waterfall Trail.
This is an ongoing project is separated into 2 phases.
Phase 1 consists of the first 5 miles of trail. Phase 2 is currently in the funding seeking stage.
This trail is a pack in pack out trail and there are no trash receptacles along the trail.
There is no cell phone coverage on the trail.
